Ok ! So, FINALLY I got my driver's licence almost 2 months after I gave my driving exam and a stay of 12 months in this country.
Things are pretty fast and smooth in this place which can be noticed in the time it took for me to obtain my fucking licence.
Usually "they" say it takes around 5 days for you to recieve your copy of licence after passing the exam.
Not in my case though !
I had to call the DMV (Dept. of Motor Vehicles) again and again AND again and I should take solace from the fact that eventually they mailed it and my 170 $ plus time and energy didn't go to waste completely.
Everything happens for a reason & a good one at that ! YEAH RIGHT !
I might seem a little frustrated and antagonistic towards something but I believe, its justified.
Anyways, my classes are going to begin next week and looking forward to that. Its been almost 5 weeks since I have touched the books, not that I mind but I am pretty fresh to take on the rigors of studying.....again.

Another Weekend
So it turns out that we spent Friday and Saturday on the 3rd street promenade,LA(Obviously) playing pool with some anony blonde chicks that disappear in the same manner as they appear.
It was fun so no hard feelings and I don't mind that as long as I don't pay for the pleasure (of playing with them (pool)).
Also, Yeah, the sunday evening was spent watching "The Dark Knight" and I still can't get over the Joker. Heath Ledger left a long-lasting impression on me after I saw his performance in the movie.
I did clean up my apartment today along with my roomie as we will be moving out soon and the title of "Bundy Boys" will soon be history.
Rest nothing much to write about apart from my noticeable improvements in pool tricks. ;-)
I am still trying to get over from the last week spent in Las Vegas which was Gooood. I think it was a pretty adventurous trip as I drove almost 600 miles (almost 1000 kms) on my own in my "NEW" second hand car which is (touchwood) turning out to be a pretty good deal.
Good mileage in this country where gas is very-very expensive (full sarcasm intended) is more than welcome and I am happy with my new wings that help me to socialize on a more frequent basis and yeah, on my own and not because some class-mate felt pity on me and took me for a ride (again full sarcasm intended).
I got to get up in like 4 hours so I better go to sleep and get some energy before I take on my new role as the Supervisor and not a CSR at Bomb Shelter (you wouldn't want to know the details of my work there and I'd be more than happy to keep it a secret).
Peace ! (coz they say so), personally I am an aggressive person who wouldn't really give peace a chance.
